Children of Eden

One of Stephen Schwartz’s richest and most satisfying musicals, Children of Eden has not yet received its first Broadway production, but has proven hugely popular at regional and educational theatres. Co-authored with John Caird Les Mis, this funny and moving show investigates the first chapters of Genesis to study the origins and complications of “parenthood,” re-telling the story of Adam, Eve, Cain and Abel in Act One, and Noah’s family and the ark full of animals in Act Two.
